King County Homeless Program (KC HEP)

HOMELESS EMPLOYMENT

 

 

Provides employment and case management services for the King County homeless population or those who are in danger of losing their housing. Assist in securing a stabilized housing situation; provide job readiness, vocational assessment, and help securing training funds. Case management while in training and provide direct job placement and retention services.

 

King County Homeless Veterans Program (KC Homeless VET)

 

 

Provides employment and case management services to King County veterans that are homeless or in danger of losing their housing. Assist in securing a stabilized housing situation; provide job readiness, vocational assessment, and help securing training funds. Cases manage while in training and provide direct job placement and retention services.

 

Front Door Employment

 

 

Provide assessment, navigation and support to the King County homeless population who, during screening for housing assistance, have expressed interest in receiving employment or training services. Assessment to determine which vocational pathway is suitable for customer. Refer and follow-up with potential vocational services providers to ensure customer is receiving assistance. Examples of referrals include the WorkSource or specialized employment programs for clients with limited work history, multiple barriers and low English proficiency.
